A TRIP TO THAILAND











From Bangalore(India) it takes less than 4 hours to reach Bangkok(The Capital of Thailand) on flight.The price of flight tickets from here starts from around 13k.
The flights that can take u there are:
Jet Airways,Air India,Indian Airlines,Thai Airways etc,their are also many other flights that travel to Bangkok indirectly.But before going to Bangkok we need to apply for visa which cost around 1000.All most all the flights land at Bangkok International Airport (inset) also known as Don Muang International Airport and the name given by the king(Bhumibol Adulyadej) for this airport as Suvarnabhumi International Airport which means "The Golden Land".The Bangkok International Airport is located 24 km (15 Miles) north of the Bangkok.Once you reach the airport the main source of travel to Bangkok is with the help of taxi.Most of the taxi's in Bangkok is Toyota Corolla.

Shopping in Bangkok

Siam Square is a good place to start.It is conveniently located at Central Station on the BTS Sky Train route.Next door to this and connected by an enclosed walkway is Siam Discovery Center. These two shopping centers have many up-market brand label shops. You will also find here the large shops for music lovers and Asian Books for people those who love to read books.

Another favourite in this area is Mahboonkrong (MBK) shopping center.It will take only 10 minutes to walk there from Siam.Here you will find hundreds of smaller shops and stalls, selling many goods at bargain prices. You will find many things there from clothes to electronics.

Pantip Plaza is computer heaven for many people coming to Thailand. Hundreds of shops on every floor sell hardware and software, both originals and pirated.Many people go there to buy copy software and VCD movies for as little as 100 baht.

Continuing eastbound on the Sky Train along Ploenchit Road and Sukhumvit Road there are a number of small shops and larger shopping centers. These include Ploenchit Plaza, Robinson, Landmark, Times Square and Emporium.

PATTAYA

Pattaya is one of the most beautiful town in Thailand,which one should during ones life time.Here in Pattaya one can find many shops, houses, mega-hotels to guesthouses, department stores, and so on. The most important place to visit here are the beaches.The white sandy beaches are visited by swimmers and sunbathers, not only from the local Thai but from the foreign tourists around the world.Here the beaches are beautiful and the night parties are amazing.Resorts that are present here are the most developed beach resort in Thailand, which attracts innumerable visitors and tourists annually.

Pattaya Attractions

Million Years Stone Park & Pattaya Crocodile Farm:
Here there are more than 5000 Crocodiles.It is not a normal Crocodile farm but it is a breeding farm.Here people are allowed to sit on the back of the crocodile under supervision and the charges for doing this is around 70-100 Baht.Everyday the Crocodile are fed upon tons of K.G. of Fish.In this farm apart from crocodiles there are various other animals.Here u can find huge variety of Birds,Elephant,Bear,etc.Here you can experience all thoses things which you cannot experience in any part of the world,like sitting next to the Tiger or on the Tiger.You can easily sit next to a Tiger and remove pics but sitting on it requires little permission.The charges to sit next to Tiger costs around 40-50 Baht and on it costs additional 50 Baht.Apart from animals this is a stone park.Here you can find different things made out of stones.
Apart from stone park and Crocodile farm and Beaches there are various other attractions like Elephant Village,Khao Pattaya (Khao Phra Bat) Ko Krok,Ko Lan,

Phuket

Phuket is the capital of the island province of Phuket, which is in South Thailand. While most travellers come to the island for its beaches, Phuket City is where the main airport is located. Moreover,it is where travellers can experience the true culture of Phuket which is unique and interesting. The architecture is also one thing that shouldn't be missed. You will find shops in 70-100 year-old Sino-Portuguese style buildings on several roads around .

There are 3 main beaches in Phuket: Kata Beach, Patong Beach and Karon Beach.
